Submissions will be reviewed and judged by a panel of esteemed art professionals and experts. The judging process will consider factors such as artistic skill, creativity, impact, and cultural relevance.
Fine artists currently working within the Israel Palestine region are eligible to participate, this includes natives who are currently studying abroad. Natives who are studying abroad are defined as residents of this region for at least 5 of the past 10 years prior to their degree.
The Batsheva Art Prize welcomes submissions from various artistic mediums, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, mixed media, and more. The prize values diversity and innovation in artistic expression.
The expense budget is there to cover costs related to the exhibition, which includes nation-wide travel costs, postage and packaging, printed materials, costs related to production of artworks. Accommodation costs in Tel Aviv are not covered by this budget unless we decide to approve this under special circumstances. We may approve or disapprove expenses at our discretion.
The expense budget is there to cover costs related to the exhibition; any remainder will be used for next year’s competition. Receipts will need to be submitted for every expense that is ultimately incurred and approved in advance.
Any costs exceeding the expense budget will have to be covered by the artists unless we encounter very special circumstances.
